Ok, i'll be honest... While the idea for this portraits is good, you really have a problem with how th elight falls on the subjects, and the depth of the photo. And a piece of advice that I also received from a profi photograher.... no matter what the angle is, always focus on the eyes, and be carefull, don't let the light spoil your shot.
